Eshop Policy

By shopping with LAURENT MULLER, you are agreeing to accept the following conditions, under which we provide all our content and services. Please take a moment to read and understand them before you use our e-shop.

With Care

All our products, art pieces and our ceramics are hand-made in Amsterdam, Europe. The best craftsmanship is employed for the best ethical results. Note that all ceramic’s irregularities and/or variances in size, glaze or texture, reflect the many human touches received during the making process. We see it as an additional value of any handmade process and must be embraced as an intrinsic characteristic of our ceramic pieces, all unique objects of collection.

All our tableware has been fired at 1220'C (stoneware) and is food-safe and can be safely used in microwave and dishwashers. Please be aware that sudden changes in temperature (eg. from freezer to oven) is likely to cause thermal shock, which may create fissures in the glaze or clay body. 

Prices & VAT

All prices are quoted in Euro (EU), (with option to $, or £), and are subject to change without notice. If, by mistake, an item is listed at incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order placed at the incorrect price. 

Product prices as shown on the website are inclusive of any applicable EU VAT. Delivery to UK addresses will include EU VAT. Non EU addresses will be zero-rated and not subject to EU VAT and therefore VAT will be removed from your original order on completion.

Delivery times

Please be aware that some products of LAURENTMULLER are made on order (ie. Objects or Photographies) and therefore require a longer period of production. These times are indicated on the description of the product and are just a guideline that may need modification at any time a problem of production would occur. We will liaise immediately with you if the case would happen.

Shipping Costs

We try to keep the shipping cost as low as possible. We simply charge you what the forwarder charges us. If you can get a better quote or you have an appointed agent, please feel free to ask us and we will manage your order offline (payment with bank transfer or paypall) following your shipping instruction. 

Please note that an order of multiple pieces reduce proportionally the single unit's shipping cost.

Packaging & Shipping

Your order will be packed with all our personal care and we will make all the efforts to deliver it safely to you. Once your payment has been received, items will be shipped within two working day (or few days for multiple orders) from its placement. Note that if you are ordering large paintings or pieces of furniture, we will treat each other individually - and also with insurance at your costs if you require it. Please inform us by email or phone before you process your order online, it will be a delight to speak to you about your interest and wishes.

To ensure safe and transparent delivery, you will receive a notification by email with a specific shipment’s tracking number once your order is dispatched. Delivery time is naturally related to the country of destination. A national shipment usually takes 2-4 business days but an international shipment it may even takes few weeks to arrive. Please contact us prior to your purchase if you want to know in advance your estimated delivery time. We are not responsible for any delivery delays after the order has left our studio or due to any circumstances beyond our control.

Please remember that you are responsible for any customs obligations and/or import taxes that may apply. Please ensure that the address and contact details entered during checkout are correct.
We cannot be responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided to us by you.
Shipping charges will apply for orders that have to be re-sent due to incorrect details provided to us.

Returns

It is your responsibility to pay for the return shipping costs including eventual custom/import duties at our destination. Items must be shipped back to us unused and in original condition and packaging (or similar quality). If the painting, photography, piece of furniture or ceramic will arrive to us damaged, we will not allow any refund or exchange. Logically, exchanges are not available for "unique pieces". If you are asking for a refund, the shipping cost we bared to ship the item to your door (and/or any other eventual charges) will be deducted from the overall amount to be returned.

Order's Cancellation

While we will do our best to pack and ship your order within hours from its placement, we can’t accept order’s cancellation.

Damaged items

In the rare and unfortunate event where an item arrives to you damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of the receipt of the goods, and take picture of the broken parcel. With clear photo showing the damage we will be able to process the claim with the shipping company.
